Can I choose who sees my profile?

Gold members can choose to be seen only by other Gold members. With it on, your profile does not appear in Discover for anyone else, and they cannot open it or send you an interest. Members you have already matched with can still message you. If your Gold ends, your profile is visible to everyone again.
