- Eelaf is for Muslims aged 18 and over who intend to marry.
- Every profile goes through verification, and you must be honest about who you are.
- Respect, honesty and keeping conversations on Eelaf are conditions of staying.
By creating an account on Eelaf, you agree to these terms. They exist to keep the platform a place people can trust with something as serious as marriage.
Who can join
You must be at least 18 years old, single or otherwise free to marry under your declared marital status, and here with a genuine intention to marry. Eelaf is not a dating app, and using it as one is a violation of these terms.
Verification
Every member submits a current live photo for review. Government ID verification is optional. While review is pending you may use the app; if a photo is rejected, interactions pause until a successful retake. You agree to keep your profile honest.
Conduct
Be respectful in every message. Never ask another member for money, attempt fraud, threaten or encourage violence, harass anyone, or misrepresent yourself. Breaking this can close your account.
Guardian (wali) access
If you add a wali, you are granting them read-only access to the conversations you choose. You can revoke that access at any time, and they are notified when you do. A wali cannot send messages, act on your behalf, or access anything beyond what you have shared.
Interests and messaging
Sending an interest and messaging are subject to the limits shown in the app. These limits exist to keep interactions meaningful rather than to be worked around.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close an account that violates these terms, misrepresents who someone is, or is reported and confirmed to have acted in bad faith. You may close your own account at any time from Settings.
No liability for outcomes
Eelaf verifies identity and moderates conduct on the platform. We do not vet compatibility, and we are not a party to any marriage that results from using it. Use ordinary care, and involve your family, as you would with any introduction.
Changes to these terms
We will notify members by email of material changes before they take effect. Continued use of the platform after that point means you accept the updated terms.
