Delete your account
You can close your Eelaf account at any time, from inside the app or by writing to us.
From the app
Open Eelaf, go to You, then Settings, and choose Delete my account. You will be asked why you are leaving, and asked once more to confirm.
Without the app
Write to [email protected] from the email address you signed up with, and ask for your account to be deleted.
What is removed
Closing your account removes your profile, photos and messages from Eelaf straight away. Your matches can no longer see you, and your wali’s access ends.
What is kept, and for how long
Records we must keep to handle reports and protect other members are kept only as long as that requires. Copies inside our encrypted backups are replaced as those backups cycle, within about five weeks.
A copy of your data
If you want a copy of your data before you go, request it from Settings in the app first, or ask for it in your email.
